Welcome to 'Mission Iceland'

We - four friends and engineers - crossed Iceland from the northernmost to the southernmost point on foot in 27 days. We started on August 5th 2018 in Rifstangi and finished after 579 kilometers of walking on August 31st at Kötlutangi. We were hiking 'unsupported', which meant for us not to pick up food supplies on the road, all we needed was carried by us from the start. Additionally we carried a portable water turbine and a solar panel to power all our electrical devices. That's how we used the inexhaustible power of nature and showed what is possible with renewable energies.
